“…current top ten” etc.
Friday, December 22nd, 2006Well, the ironic “You could easily picture this/in the current top ten” line from “Cossacks Are” (lead track on Scott’s “The Drift” for the two or three of you out there who haven’t picked it up yet) has proved strangely prophetic, as it turns out, “The Drift” is all over the current crop of year-end “Best of” lists. “Scott on Screen” auf Deutsch for the German-impaired. Very, very happy to announce that “Scott Walker - 30 Century Man” has been invited to the 57th Berlin International Film Festival.
Very recent news, I probably shouldn’t be blogging it, but more details will be posted as they come available. Festival runs Feb 8-18, 2007.
This is an extra-special treat as my last film “Cinemania” was made in collaboration with a German filmmaker (and lots of German funds) so I have a real soft-spot for Germany, Berlin in particular. So, vielen Dank!
