October 25th, 2008or…”Through A Long And Sleepless Night…” Make that “A Long and Sleepless Year” - well, we’re finally bringing you the North American release of “SCOTT WALKER - 30 CENTURY MAN” starting on December 17 at the IFC Center in NYC. More details, more cities, more events to be announced soon. Hey, if Scott can wait a decade between albums, the wait for this couldn’t have been that bad…
In the meantime, London gets one more look at the film on the big screen the Saturday afternoon before “Drifting & Tilting” at the Barbican Center in London. And after the SATURDAY NIGHT “Drifting & Tilting” performance (***note date change from the previously scheduled Friday night***), yours truly will be spinning Scott favorites & rarities at the Barbican Lates Lounge, right there in the foyer/bar. Come by and pitch in a request…”Stormy” anyone?
Always Coming Back to You: BAFTA screenings
January 30th, 2008Our friends in the UK will have another chance to see SCOTT WALKER - 30 CENTURY MAN on the big screen as Cineworld brings back all the BAFTA nominated films.
(update: also, new additions to FESTIVALS: Mexico & Turkey)
and: BBC4 will broadcast the film on Friday Feb 8 at 9pm in the UK. This is the full 95 min version.

January 16th, 2008I want to congratulate my tireless, fearless and all around brilliant producer Mia Bays for being nominated for a BAFTA award (The British Academy Film Awards) for the Carl Foreman Award for Special Achievement by a British Writer, Director of Producer in their First Feature Film. She’s still working non-stop to get the film out in the US and beyond and I couldn’t have done it without her. Official nominee list below…
