We have this man to thank for our beautiful US DVD release. He took a chance on us when we were at the end of our rope and it has been a real honor to be a part of his Oscilloscope family. His musical, cinematic, and humanitarian legacy will be felt for generations to come. Thank you Adam, we’ll miss you.
Dusting off the ol’ Scott Walker website to alert the faithful about our man’s latest:
“Cocteau Voices” at the Royal Opera House

Commissioned by ROH2, ROH Associate Artist Aletta Collins and esteemed director Tom Cairns present two contrasting dramatic pieces in two different artforms: one dance, one opera. Jean Cocteau’s monologues provide the inspiration for an evening of opera and dance in the Linbury Studio Theatre.
In the world premiere of Duet for One, Collins re-imagines Cocteau’s monologue Duet For One Voice for dancers, with an original score by Scott Walker.

…and there is a great article about the show in The Independent.
“Scott Walker - 30 Century Man” US cable TV debut. Monday May 10 at 8:00 pm on the Sundance Channel.
